Desma has been spinning for ten years, and knitting for most of her life. Her fleece of choice is hard wearing Romney cross. Plain Romney is usually a little harder. Merino and Polworth are softer and finer, more suitable for baby-ware.

Alpaca is a lighter, warmer, hollow fibre, softer than Llama, but the raw fleece is more expensive. Alpaca is less "prickly" than wool, and more tolerable for allergy sufferers.

Her children's garments are mainly helmets, beanies, with jumpers usually in the Gernsey style.

Popular colors are mainly the natural darker fleeces, with some dyed colours available. Other sizes can be made if some of the selected fleece colour is available.
